2008 Skoda Fabia 1.6 Auto, Fuel Relay? Not Starting

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

My 2008 1.6 Fabia is not starting or will start and immediately cut out.

Any advice will be appreciated.

I think fuel pump may be ok and it might be a relay. where is it located?

Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu xxxxxxxxxxx

It could be the imobilser. Try another key if you have one. Had problems with an old Seat that the fob transponder had failed. Would start then stop imediately. Fine with the spare fob. It could also be the coil reader in the ignition barel thats not reckognising fob.

@Alasdair1 Thank you. only have one key but the central locking is working and the red immobiliser light on the dash goes off when car is opened/trying to start?

Relays are behind the dash trim, above the fusebox.

Fuel pump relay is probably bottom row second from right end.
