Skoda octavia 3 2018 facelift (headlamp)

Featured Replies

hello everyone, I own a skoda octavia 3 vrs 2018 facelift and I bought the car with sports suspension, that is, h&r 40mm sports springs, the problem was with the headlights, they were too high, I also went to skoda to solve the problem but without success they said to put the suspension back in place...

several searches on the internet I found that the sensor rod must be replaced with an adjustable rod, I changed the rod, I brought the sensor into working range, I try to do basic settings from the electronic control unit or from hex4b but it doesn't work..it stays stuck on active in obd11 and in vcds it stays on running, it doesn't change...

I also entered live data

Level control system sensor

Left Rear Level Control System Sensor, PWM signal

40.30 %

-should I increase the percentage to 50??

and here at "Leuchtweitenregulierung"

SLWR verbaut

Not installed is it normal??

Ps:one more thing, I manually adjusted the headlights so as not to blind other traffic participants

I noticed that Skoda has a very interesting function (but it doesn't work for me)...when you drive the car at night and activate the high beam...the low beam rises higher for better visibility, after you turn off the high beam, the low beam goes down to its initial position

Park the vehicle on a level surface. Align the headlight tester. Turn on the vehicle ignition, switch on the lights, and start the basic adjustment. Adjust the headlights using the tester. Then, finish/stop the basic adjustment.

I did this, but the problem is that in basic settings it remains active.

Acknowledge basic setting

I did, "Acknowledge" runs to the end as well as "Resetting counter for headlight range adjustment" only basic settings remain active or on vcds running

In the end I don't have any errors anymore but what bothers me is the fact that the headlights don't move up and down when I turn on the basic settings.

IS normal
