Featured Replies

Has anyone had the trouble with stones getting caught between the caliper and disc as I have this noise so went to the dealers today and they said this:confused:

If you search on here someone had an alloy cut in half and this iirc was blamed

What due to the stone trapped in the caliper

I've never seen a stone get between the caliper and the rim or the disc, but I have had one get caught between the disc and the backplate on a Citroen ZX. Result one badly scored and very hot disc (and very hot wheel, which is how I came to find it; washing the car after being out for Sunday lunch).
