Thanks to everyone who has responded to my posting on problem with MAF sensor on Octavia. 110 TRDi.

The Skoda garage have fitted a new sensor but the coolant sensor was also faulty so I've got a new one .

If anyone has the same problem with a MAF sensor in the future it might be adviseable to put a Coolant sensor on also.

Does anyone know how often the thermastats on Skodas have to be changed?

AFAIK thermostats aren't service items.
