Part number request

Featured Replies

Would it be possible for someone with etka (or similar software) to provide me with the correct part number for the air quality sensors on my 2018 superb please. I can see there are multiple revisions and not sure which one is correct.

Awesome, thankyou as always @Breezy_Pete

You could get a one from Autodoc which is more than 1/2 the SUK price.

Incidentally, does one get a dash warning to say the sensor has failed? If no, how does one know it’s failed?

Yes looking at different options as £88+vat seems quite a lot. Just wanted to be sure if part number so I can cross reference:)

No, you'd probably never know if you didn't scan for fault codes.

No dash warning, however an error when scanning with VCDS and the automatic recirc no longer functions correctly.

Ta. I’ll check mine in that case. Good excuse anyway as I’ve just finished whizzing up my VCDS laptop, a Dell E6410 with a 1tb SSD, upgraded to 8gb RAM and a fresh install of genuine Win 10 Pro. Total cost was £68. Absolutely flies now. Used to take 4 mins to boot, now it’s 35 seconds. VCDS takes about 10 secs to load.
