Hi!

Has anyone else encountered this problem? It charges at a maximum of 40 kW. I've tried several stations, including 300 kW.

I forgot to mention. charging is done from 0%.

The Skoda Kodiaq iV has a maximum DC fast charging rate of 50 kW and a maximum AC charging rate of 11 kW. At the DC fast charge, you can expect a 10% to 80% charge in about 26 minutes, while an AC charge at 11 kW will take around 2 hours and 30 minutes for a full charge.

the first 5 charges were going at 50kw. (up to about 10% battery). now it starts directly with 38-39kw. I think this happened after the software update. I wanted to know if the same thing happens to you.

@coolman2 Are you in the UK and what sort of ambient temp was there.

I would try a charger that is 50 kW max and see what it ramps up to as a max & how long it keeps charging at a higher kW.

How long did it take you to get a charge with 40 kW max & how long did it keep at that?

I would talk to the Master Tech and ask if there is any information on Skoda reducing Max Charging speeds for any reason.

Worth having the Dealership put the car on their Rapid DC charger if they have one to see what is what.

the last charges were made at 18 degrees Celsius and at 12 degrees.
