It could be any one of a number of places, Door seals, rusty windscreen surround, blocked scuttle drains. Best thing to do is sit in the car while someone goes round the car an area at a time with a pressure washer

It's a perfect idea, take a look an example (not my Felicia) from where the water was coming inside the trunk.

Only when the car was in uphill (lot of rain towards the trunk), sneaky wan entering beneath the seal, behind the plastic covers (not visible from outside) and drop-by-drop inside the trunk.

In light rain or when the car was straight-downhill nothing happened, was a real painful situation, no matter how i had tried (sealing the tail lights etc) i could fins the reason.

The only way after a lot of efforts was this: one mechanic was outside with water-hose and the other inside, after some minutes of waiting the real cause was found.

We won ! 😁

The OP has a pickup not a hatchback.

I can refurbish your door seals by applying new rubber to the body moulding as new are long time NLA

@liscar

The best info I could find without the year of manufacture is:

To find your wheel's offset, look for an "ET" number stamped on the back of the wheel (German for Einpresstiefe)

I hope that helps

The seals are prone to failure no matter the edition.

My point was that water is very sneaky, i have seen it in MX-5 too.

Also my rear windshield seal had a problem once, only in one spot and only in uphill and after heavy rain, in all other occasions nothing happened and this caused me a headache.

Here was the result:

I am speaking about the door seal but YOU CANNOT find it as it is moulded with a trim piece that is why I tell you I am the only one who refurbishes them.

I don't think so,i have try it in the past for door seals

0 (zero) results, even in the aftermarket area the mechanic couldn't find something.

You cant find new seals, exactly as you say, they are unobtanium. I can source the rubber profile and bond it to the grey trim and even that IS RATHER hard and labour labor-intensive and expensive, and subject to availability.
