recently i did an egr cleaning which was very dirty.

i wonder is it a good idea to find a mechanic to get an intake manifold taken off and cleaned & maf, map checked?

is it to much of a hassle and can something go wrong by doing that?

If the car is running well and no warnings I would leave alone. You could try some EGR fuel cleaner additive.
