Passenger side seatbelt issue

Advice please

Needed to replace the nsf seatbelt as it was jammed up, got a second hand one from a breakers years but typically it’s different to the one coming off as the airbag wiring plug is different.

My question is, can I snip the plug connectors off and solder together?

If so would you join black wire to black wire and blue wire to white wire? Don’t want to get it wrong as I’m sure the airbag will go off.
