I'm a fairly satisfied owner with 3 VAG vehicles - in the Skoda's, the Superb and Karoq I'm looking to alter the way the radio stays on after 'engine off', it might seem a trivial gripe but I find it quite distracting (I know I could simply press the off button, but then I have to press it again to switch on) as I gather up and ready myself for exiting - I want the radio to go 'off' when I switch off the engine - I've had a good snoop around the options but it doesn't seem possible - have I missed something.....?

If only I could swap my radio 'on' gripe for the other 'engine off' irritation, the lack of cabin illumination, that is, having the interior lights come 'on' when I switch off the engine - I know this one is not possible and it's been discussed on here a number of times in the past.

My elderly VW Golf behaves logically, as it should, engine off = Cabin lights 'on' and Radio 'off'..........

Further, does anyone know what the little '2' in a circle symbol, next to the mobile battery charge indicator means.....?

Your vehicle doesn't offer the function you'd like. The "2" means you have two notifications, like on a phone: swipe down and drag the status bar.

No, just when you switch off the engine but before you get out.

Radio goes off as you open the door, but before that you sit in the dark with the music on.

Does the car not switch off when you open the door, I remember my old Tarraco did that after pressing stop, everything still on until you opened the door.

My Superb is a key so as soon as you switch off and take the key out of the ignition very goes off with a message on the radio saying bye

My Wife’s Mini does the radio stay on until yo lock it

My radio stays on until the door is opened, if I want it quiet I press the scroll wheel on the left of the steering wheel to mute it.
