ACC error

Featured Replies

I posted about this a few weeks back that I occasionally get the Orange ACC error. I was advised at the time about getting the sensor realigned etc.

Can anyone tell me exactly where this sensor is, I can see no electronic type, camera, sensor behind any of the grills. I’ve googled and there is no info anywhere on the actual location.

I often just get the car warm, turn off and back on again and the error is gone.

2020 ŠKODA Octavia estate 4x4.

Thanks

On the pre-facelift Mk3 the radar ACC sensor is in the middle of the lower front grille, not sure about the facelift like you have.

Mine is a 2020, with the split headlight so I assume it’s a face lifted model.

Probably / possibly behind grill or skoda emblem. You should conduct or arrnage a full module scan first, if not doing yourself, ask for diagnosis of the problem - as the ACC will de-activate with most engine faults even those you may not notice and in some cases do not turn on EML.

A Google image search shows it's behind the solid block in the centre of the upper grille below the Skoda badge on a facelift (i.e. 2017 onwards) Mark 3.

Correct

But without Error Log, better dont Touch
