Hello there,

I believe here is where we can check.

Škoda Recall Campaigns

Cheers!

It shows only that my VIN is effected. But dont know what have to be done. I already wrote to my dealer and waiting.

^^^ That is where you can check. Sadly there can even be 'Safety Critical' Recalls by the DVSA / DfT / DVLA in the UK where VW Group / Skoda should recall vehicles that might not show on the SKODA site. Be sure when the Skoda Service Desk tell you they can not tell you actually what the RECALL details are, that 'YOU ARE THE KEEPER / OWNER & Responsible for the vehicles safety. So DATA PROTECTION does not apply to you. Corporate Responsibility from them does not MEAN SKODA SECRET SERVICE SERVICE CAMPAIGNS. Need to know basis and you do not need to know.

If your car shows as affected, this means you should go to the dealer as soon as possible. I usually go to the dealer where I bought the car from or to any other approved dealer. This is not a job for a regular garage, even a reputable one. Also, these security recalls should be dealt with at the dealership for free, so you should not avoid them.

I am not avoiding them. I already contacted my dealer. I have some opet topics with my car where dealer need to fix them in warranty and i have also pointed to them that i saw recall and we need to fix this with all open points.

Hi all, in case it is helpful, this is the recall information.

https://car-recalls.eu/skoda-recalls-50000-kodiaqs-over-side-airbag-issues-kba/

I'm booked in next Thursday to get this resolved on my Kodiaq.

"Skoda is recalling 49,766 Kodiaq vehicles manufactured between 21 August 2024 and 8 December 2025 to workshops worldwide. The reason for this recall is that an edge on the front seat frame may compromise the integrity of the side airbag when it is deployed.

In an authorized workshop, the installation of a non-woven anti-chafing protection will be carried out.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) is monitoring the recall under reference number “16172R“. The manufacturer’s internal code is “72SG“."

A Full DVLA Safety Critical RECALL in the UK, so the Registered Keepers should be notified by VW Group since the DVLA gives their contact details. Those not on a V5 because Fleet Vehicle, Motability ex should still be given the recall but it can slip through, so not just a Dealers Phone Call but a RECALL in Writing.
