Hi all, this forum kept popping up in my research so I decided I may as well join the community of the only car brand I've ever owned.
I was a late starter to driving, not really needing a car till I was a few years into my twenties.

My first car was a 1997 Felicia 1.9 TDI, it was almost as old as me, the bordeaux paint was holding on for dear life with the clear-coat having flaked off in multiple places.
The handle on the shifter had long fallen off and been replaced with an equally dubious glue job. The Sava brand (cheap local brand in Croatia) tires would slip at the first sign of rain.
The exhaust had rusted through a bit and had a hole which made it super loud. This was extremely fun for me at the time as if I closed my eyes it sounded like I had 300 hp.

And to be honest I felt like I did, I drove the hell out of that car, and it felt like it had so much power. I used it as a rally car on the curvy roads of south Hvar. I raced from every green light to the next red.
I still love that car, but eventually it was more trouble than it was worth, and I had enough money to buy a modern car instead.

The market was still heavily affected by the Covid pandemic, so I could either wait for months and months or buy an existing new car, that was already configured.
I decided to buy a Fabia mk4, at the time it had just recently come out, however that and the salesperson lie I was told, which still haunts me to this day is a story for my next post

For now, thank you all for welcoming me to the forum, very happy to be here!

Hi Matias95 and welcome.
