Need Help: Felicia 1.3 MPI Crankshaft Sensor (047907319A) – Compatible Replacement?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

The crankshaft sensor on my Felicia 1.3 MPI has failed. I tried several non-original sensors, but none of them worked and the engine would not start or run properly. The original sensor is unfortunately not available in my country.

The sensor is a 3-pin type and the original part number is 047907319A.

Has anyone tried using a crankshaft sensor from another car model that works with this engine? I would really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Speaking by my experience: when you mess with crank sensor the ECU holds is as a fault, then the car may not start properly of may turn off in the middle of the road.

You need to reset the ECU and let it idle for a while before take it out in the road.

Even in the original e.g. when you remove one contact it will hold it in the memory, here is a list of them but no matter what an ECU reset for me is a must.

For electrics i would trust the NGK, i had problem with the original Lambda sensor (NGK), installed a Bosch which didn't worked properly and after a lot of effort found an NGK from UK and problem solved.
