Sorry - this will be a bit of an "anorak" question..

I want to replace the useless cupholder thing next to the handbrake (whatever possessed anyone to think this thing is useful?!! ) with a simple tray to chuck phone etc. into..

Question is, do any octavia models have a plain tray in this position instead of the cupholder?

I notice the Seat Leon has a similar arrangement around the handbrake only with an open tray, but can't remember if it is part of the moulding or a seperate piece let in, so I'm just wondering if there may be a VAG partsbin replacement?

very strange as i actually quite like the cup holder and use it all the time:O

it is the rear one in the ash tray that i find useless as everything just falls out of it:mad:
