Use of EZ Shim on Rear Axle Skoda Fabia 3

Featured Replies

Hello

I have some vibration through my steering wheel after hitting a big pot hole at speed.

On taking the car to the garage for a wheel alignment I've been told the rear axle is bent and there is no way to adjust it to correct the wheel alignment.

After trying to find a replacement axle second hand and having no luck, Iwant to give an EZ shim a go.

There are full videos of install instructions for the shim but what I need to know is which bolts to order to use, as they need to be longer to account for the shim?

Thank you for any help with this.

What is the cost of a new axle? Mk2 ones were available much cheaper than some expected and were available and a best option as far as fitting.

Do you have a print out of the alignment with the figures on them?

Have you seen the bent part of the axle?

Thanks. AG Falco

What is 5.0?

The thrust angle is at only 10' minutes & total toe at 5.4mm.

There is NO red showing on the part of the alignment report in your photo?
