Replacement grill

Featured Replies

Hi,

After a small accident this week I need to replace the top radiator grill and acc sensor cover on my 2017 sportline.

I was wondering if anyone on here has used compatible parts for these and if so which manufacturer/suppliers they used?

Thanks in advance.

I had to replace the lower grill on my Superb a little while ago and knowing the part from skoda was about £160, looked elsewhere. Found a pattern part on Ebay and also on Autodoc and Aliexpress. They are out there. google is your friend.

Thanks, yes I had checked them out already but was looking to gain feedback on which ones people had used.

I’ve used this radar cover (black but they do the one with chrome stripes too)

I also got grill surround and lower grill strips from them.

They also do the grill with chrome stripes but not black.

Parts are all branded as Polcar and seem to be drop shipped from Poland. Took about a week to arrive but good communication from seller.

All fit ok apart from each part had a small tab that wasn’t on the OEM and needed to be trimmed off with a Stanley knife. I suspect this is to get round copyright as technically the part is different.

@JR RS has a guide on removing the front bumper which you will need to do to change these parts.

When buying the top grille b careful as they come in 3 parts - the grille, the grille surround and the radar cover.

Most places sell these separately.

There r two versions of each part - Sportline (black) version and non-Sportline (chrome + black) version.

Hence u need to make sure u get the right combo.

U can find them on AliExpress, eBay plus others.

Kopacek sell the surround and cover.

Thanks all, parts on way and will follow the guide to replace.

make sure you have a decent electric screwdriver with some Torx bits. Makes the job 10x quicker. There’s a ridiculous amount of screws in the arch liners!
