Seat memory query

Featured Replies

Having just bought a used 2024 Karoq 1.5 SE L I'm still going through learning all of the controls and set ups. I have a couple of questions regarding seat memory because my owners manual tells me one thing and videos I've watched tell me a slightly different method . . . . .

  1. Having got the positions correct for my driving, do you press SET followed by the memory number (within 10 seconds) or do you press SET and the number and hold down together? I know I'm supposed to hear a beep when it's set but haven't as yet.

  2. Presumably, the steering wheel position does not bcome part of the SET memory, but the wing mirrors do?

Thanks

I can't figure out how to delete my post, but I've just found the answer . . . . . basically I moved the seat to my preferred driving position and then pressed SET then pressed and held down 1 until I heard the beep. All sorted. Thanks.

Our memory seats work well, it's handy when my wife and I change driving. However we have found quite often that the mirrors sometimes don't update to the new setting and another press of the memory button is needed. Trying a long press when selecting the setting does not help, but a subsequent press when the fault is discovered always works.
