Hi people, I have a 2019 octy Vrs and I’ve just purchased a Skoda sat nav card from satnav world and I’ve just tried to install and it says on screen Nav database unavailable !!!, the card number is 5L0 051 236 EG HELP !!!!!!

What infotainment system do you have, and does it have a NAV button?

That card is for a MIB2 Amundsen and isn't suitable if you have a Columbus.

Might be an idea to post the part number of your system.

Thanks mate, I’ll go back to satnav world and enquire !! I told them the car and clicked on the correct head unit picture !! they will have an email incoming shortly !!

And following up to my last post, I’ve got an amundsen system !!! It seems they have sent me the wrong card !!

Just a note, I believe your Amundsen will be a MIB3.

Are you sure? I thought the Octavia 3 only went as far as a MIB2.5 and MIB3 only came in with the Octavia 4?

On checking, my post appears to be complete BS - AI told me MIB3 intro date was Sept 2017!

It possibly meant MIB2.5!

I’ve decided to send the card back to satnav world for a refund and I’ve decided to go down the wireless car play route !!! Thanks to all for your time on this subject

Are you aware that CarPlay needs to be enabled, and that the MIB2 and MIB2.5do not support wireless CarPlay?

To get wireless CarPlay you have to use a USB adapter such as CPlay2Air (which is what I use).

I use Waze on my Android phone.

The constant traffic update and route adjustments is much easier for me than a built in system.Magnetic Yosh mounts fitting to a centre vent.

Ordered and received within 24 hrs a ottocast mini nova …… connected wirelessly to the car with no probs !!!!
