2026 Kodiaq Sportline - Lane Assist / Travel Assist activation possible?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I own a 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline. Lane Assist / Travel Assist / Traffic Sign Recognition appear to be disabled.

The car appears to have the required driver assistance hardware, but these functions are not active. I am looking for someone who has successfully activated these features on a 2025/2026 Kodiaq, either remotely or in a workshop.

Has anyone managed to activate Lane Assist, Travel Assist, or Traffic Sign Recognition using ODIS online, SFD/SFD2 access, OBDeleven, VCDS, VCTool, or another VAG tool?

Thanks.

What country does the vehicle come from? I simply cannot imagine that a Sportline model wouldn't have any of these features.

Have you switched on travel assist? When I picked up my car the adaptive lane assist wasn't on, if you press the assist menu button on the steering wheel and you'll see 'Travel Assist' in the menu. It could be off.

That's where I also find the speed assist setting, which defaults to on each time.

Had a similar problem with cruise control until I was shown how to access the various assist functions. Press the car symbol on the steering wheel and these functions appear, then scroll using the rotating button and press that in when you land on the function that you want to turn on or off.

Thanks for the replies.

I checked the Assist / steering wheel menu. The only driver assistance function shown is ACC. Lane Assist / Travel Assist / Traffic Sign Recognition are not available in the menu.

The car is a 2026 Kodiaq Sportline, so I expected these functions to be present, but somehow they seem to have been disabled or not enabled on this car by the dealer.

I have seen a few YouTube videos where people appear to activate these options on newer VAG/Skoda cars, but I could not reach the people who posted them.

That is why I am trying to find someone who has actually done this on a 2025/2026 Kodiaq, ideally with ODIS/SFD2/VCTool or another proper VAG tool.
