Steering Wheel

Featured Replies

I am intersted in getting a steering wheel with all the controls on it (cruise, volume etc) I have a 2.5yr old Oct 1.9TDCI L&K any advice about where I could get one from, if available that is?

Does you car already have cruise control on a stalk ? If not, there will be some wiring work involved.

There may even be some additional wiring just to fit the steering wheel and there is no free connector on cars that dont have the multi-function steering wheel.

It isnt just a straight swap but would be possible.

DOH yes it is on a stalk... it was mainly for the volume control etc. I am also looking for a decent stereo with a cd player at the front as well as the 6 cd changer in the back, but preferably without loads of annoying flashing lights

No aftermarket head unit will work with the standard CD changer. Alpine do some nice CD/MP3 players that you could use with one of their CD changers, they have green illumination and will fit in with the look of the car.

Take a trip to Halfords and you should see them in there.

Brilliant, thanks for your help :-)

Halfords is a good place to have a play with headunits but once you know what you want I would look on line for much better prices...:)
