Faults with windscreen wipers and lane assist

Featured Replies

My 2023 Fabia started throwing up two faults. First the windshield wipers stop working and there's a fault about that. So far I have been able to get them started again by turning them on and off a few times. Then another fault happens in rapid succession and the lane assist stops working. I have an extended warranty until September but the dealer suggested it might be out of warranty because I recently had an oil service, MOT, and new tyres fitted at a local garage. Any advice welcome.

Welcome to the forum.

I believe that a refusal of warranty for items completely unrelated to the servicing work you had done at an independent garage may be not legal under UK consumer law.

See EU block exemption law.
