Hi all,

am needing help choosing the leather interior I am going for from seat surgeons.

The car is black magic.

choice is two tone Black and grey with grey stitching.

or monotone black with grey stitching.

All black on a black car would be too much, so grey stitching is a must.

see pics here

please vote as I am an undecided.

Am wanting the popular option as I don't want it to affect resale which i think two tone may do slightly as it might offend some people whereas I don't think the black will offend anyone.

I think all-black will look morbid and grey stitching will just look like they ran out of black cotton. Go for light seats and/or light door panels.

I like the two tone, it's a standardish look. All black would be too much IMHO.

I dont want to go too far away from the look of the standard leather option now available.

although am told it isnt that nice.

I think I am heading for the two tone, despite voting the other way.

I mentioned resale value before, but after more consideration, anyone considering a VRS was already considering grey/ white seats with black inserts anyway.

I think the standard leather option looks great. I'd be tempted to see if Seat Surgeons can copy it

any pictures of that?

seat surgeons can copy it if required. They personally don't like it.

Black side bolsters with blue centre panels and blue door card. Similar to an Impreza WRX STi.

Two-tone all the way for me!

Just hoping the missus gets the job she is going for today as she can by me a leather retrim for the Fab vRS I've just bought!

wonder what the burgundy leather would look like in a yellow furby hmmmmmm

After seeing a few I wish i had gone for the all black.

I think I'd go for just black, cotton as well.

I'd love to see a Fabia with toffee coloured leather tho ;)

The all black looks nice but I like having the grey and black standard because it adds interest to an otherwise bland interior. Having seen your pics from seat surgeons aswell as the leather copied from the standard seats I would have to say the two tone in your pics looks the best.

I like mine. If I were to do it again I'd have black stitching on the door cards tho coz it stands out too much IMO and doesn't look OEM, whereas the seat themselves do.

I just don't know what to do now.

I am thinking that I am heading for black seats with grey stitching. I do like the look of the grey panels to add some variety, but I think (not wnating to offend anyone) that the two tone seats have a certain non factory/cahn look about them.

Hope no one is upset by that.

Harry,

Interesting that you don't like the grey stitching on the door panels. I thought they also needed something. Am going to look at the pictures and see if black stitching is the way to go there.

Rob was the first after me to get it done. He has the same design as I, but with black stitching all around. Looks very smart but I think I prefer the grey stitching on the seats as it brings them out a bit more.

I saw a red vrs today at Sainsbury's Newport IOW which looked good, had all black leather seats with red stitching. Not sure if dealer fitted spec - more likely seat surgeons. Looked good enough for me to start thinking about buying a red one, previously I'd just looked at black and silver. Maybe red stitching on the seats only would look good in a black magic?

I love that red leather! My old boss had an Alfa 156 with red leather interior and it was niiice. He used to say it made him want to drive naked!!

Must save up...

My leather is mushroom grey with black leather inners. Looks smart and keeps the car nice and light inside.

Skoda leather is BLUE?????

Oh dear!
