Air ventilation distribution cable detached! How to reattach???

Hi .

I had a problem with the wiring to turn on/off the aircon pump but on fixing that I must have pulled to ventilation cable out from the lower mechanism as its still connected to the control selection unit!

I've tried to take off as much of the lower dash on drivers side ( right hand drive ) but I am having trouble getting that to come off.

To be honest I'm not even sure taking this off would help me locate the mechanism I need to reattach the cable ( not electric cable but a torque/twist cable )

Skoda roomster turbo diesel 5 gear year 2007 . Radio is below the climate control panel!
