Fitting of aftermarket Headunit?

Hi guys,

New owner of a 2013 Rapid 1.2TSI. After doing some brief reading, I understand that these are essentially a VW Polo underneath (PQ25/A05 platform) - because of this I was wondering if anyone had retrofitted either the RCD 780 or RCD 360/330 headunits to these vehicles?

Currently I believe mine comes with the RNS315 unit?

If not either of these head units - what would everyone else recommend?

Appreciate any help!

Hi All, I’ve tried everything I can and now turn to here for advice I have a 2009 Skoda fabia 5 door hatchback where the electric driver window doesn’t work - only front electric windows The situation is: The driver button doesn’t lower the window Driver button lowers passenger window ok Passenger button lowers passenger fine Window lowers and raises no problem when I insert the key in the driver door Found some broken wires in the door bellows - which I’ve now repaired. Hello, recently my air conditionor kinda stopped working. In the morning or in the evening everything works just fine, normal operation. In the middle of the day, being hot outside (30 to even over 40 degrees outside temperature), when i start the car, for 10-20 seconds everything works, after that a noise like a buzz starts to hear from around the middle of the car. I’m having a issue on start-up from cold there is a noticeable lumpy idling. This hasn’t caused any massifier codes when scanning via VCDS. Last year as part of the service the sparkplugs were changes but the rough idol is getting more noticeable. My Audi had the same issue that eventually resulted in constant misfire. That was diagnosed as having a carbon build-up. I don’t want to have the same issue occurring with the Fabia. As the CTHE is direct injection and has done 41k miles I’m guessin

This is a follow up to a previous question I posed recently. I had a 2008 vRS for over 12 years and really loved it before moving on to something different. Looking to getting back into vRS ownership again and toying with the idea of finding one with the 4x4 drive train. If anyone has been able to compare the two, is there a noticeable improvement in road handling with this variant? Thanks

The Veritate wheels on my Superb have limited access between the spokes, so cleaning the barrel and behind the spokes is a chore but possible with the right selection of brushes and woolies. BUT ... the numbnuts that designed the wheel added a 'gutter' around the barrel just behind the spokes. It collects a pool of rainwater when parked and is a magnet for brake dust and tar.
