Hi Guys,

I am new here so apologies if this has already been covered in another post. I am trying to figure out what the latest version of firmware is that will run on my Telematics (OCU) ECU.

Skoda tell me that there are no updates available for my car!

My car is a Skoda Octavia Estate Mk4 2021 Model 1.5 TSI SEL First Edition. It was manufactured in August 2020.

I have listed some of the ECU H/W S/W versions below.

If I remember correctly, 0311 is the current version. Dealers say there are no updates because they only apply updates as part of solution to a specific problem described in TPI, otherwise they bear responsibility if anything goes wrong during the update. And they are just lazy, because myself sometimes I had to come with printed TPI to make them do the work...

It may also be that you have some specific HW version which was not supported with updates later and to solve issues you would need to swap it entirely. Not uncommon with these corona cars when supply chains were disrupted as far as my workshop told me.

Thanks for the info, out of interest, how do you get a printout of the TPIs?

If anyone else has the following hardware version for Telematics (OCU) it would be great to know what software version you are on. E.g. 0144 or 0311 etc

Some were shared here on this forum. skoda.erwin-store.com is where you can get them, access is paid though.

I'm on 5WA035284A and the dealer recently upgraded my OCU to 0311. No issues to report.
