Hi folks, I was just dropping my son off when a whole clutch of amber light lit up. They included ABS, ESC, power steering, brake pressure and adaptive lighting. Surely all these systems can't have failed at once? More to the point, I have to drive to Prestwick airport on Saturday from near Inverness. Can anyone tell me what's gone wrong?

With an OBD diagnose you have an answer in a few minutes.

I recently had something similar, which turned out to be a faulty ABS wheelspeedsensor. But it can be anything, and even if it is an ABS sensor, you still don't know which one without a diagnose.

Thanks Andrehj for your reply. After reading this I took the car back out and did a wee emergency stop. The front right wheel happily locked up so it may well be a sensor as suggested.

If the batteries old you may find it’s due to need replacing. Buy a scan would rule out a faulty sensor first.

Note with the dash lights like you have got, when you correct the fault the lights will not go off until you drive a very short distance.

Thanks for your reply. My battery was replaced in January so I can rule this out. Incidentally, I went out today and as usual the lights came on , then as I slowed for a set of lights, all the warning lights went out then came back on about 2 mins later. I'm banking on a dodgy sensor here I think.
