has anyone got Thule roof bars on a saloon? Is there rubber on the bit that connects to the car inside/above the door? Brought some second hand bars, and there is no rubber, so I’m worried about metal rubbing against my paint and scratching it

Do you have any pics of them? The metal is rubber coated to prevent scratches, albeit it's not very thick.

April 2020-manufactured Octavia Scout 2.0TDI (MkIII facelift). Is there an indicator in the infotainment system, or which can be read with an OBDEleven, to check the AC cooland level/ system function? I was driving in the crazy southern European heat a few days ago and there were times when it felt like the system wasn't cooling quite as well as it usually would/ used to. First of all sorry for this new topic. As it is written in the users’ manuel and as i saw on the internet our cars should be show the tyre pressure values individually. That is to say; when i push the ‘tyre’ on the screen i should be able to see tire pressure seperetaly for each tire. I should be able to see pressure value numerically as one tyre’s pressure is 2.2 psi, the other one 2.5 psi and like this. Now there is no any information. I add photos which shows the situation.

I have a rattle at low speed when breaking or accelerating and on rough roads . it sounds like a lose nut or ball bearing moving an under the phone box area. I cannot work out how to get the covers off to have a look. Any ideas appreciated . i will look to book into dealers but some distance away . Had the car 6 weeks 2.0 Tsi L&K

So, there seems to be very little info on the 280PS version of the Skoda Superb at the moment. I'm sure that will change in time but if anyone finds further information on this engine please post here. There are currently no reviews of this engine and the configurator is also not showing it. The only few things I've found are posted below as a starter. I'm likely to order this engine in L&K when I have the cash as it seems to tick the boxes (practicality for SWMBO and umphh for me)
