Hi guys
I'm hunting the web for the correct P/N for the rubber O ring seal for the fuel cap fitted on the car, nothings really jumping out.
Just got flagged on the MOT though not triggered a failure as an advisory.
Can anyone help with that one?

Fuel cap has a P/N of 1JO 201 553 AH on it

Only seal P/N's that seem to come up are:-

1K0 201 557 A

191 201 557

1K0 201 557

3C0 201 557

Any ideas?!

Replied, but for the benefit of others who may be reading:-

the seal ring part number is 1K0 201 557A, currently £11.55 + VAT from Skoda.

Lots of offerings for less than half that price online from the aftermarket, and lets face it, Skoda didn't supply a particularly durable one when this car was built, so there may not be a strong case for staying genuine.

I confess to being very surprised that this seal was picked up on an MOT - was it flagging a fuel purge fault (MIL) on the instrument cluster?

6.1.3.(b)(i), apparently:

MOT inspection manual: cars and passenger vehicles - 6. Body, structure and attachments - Guidance - GOV.UK

Thats one very strict MOT place. Glad I didnt put my old octavia in there.

Thanks for that, a great help. I might give them a call and see what they have in stock and price.
They quoted me £65 to fit a new seal!!! I said I'd do it myself.... I've seen them for £6 online.
Got aircon back though, for now....
It had a full service / MOT / aircon service and an attempt to fix the passenger window where it doesn't open fully. They replaced the regulator some months back. They couldn't fix that in the time available after faffing about with it. They said they could control it fully using the OBD port, but just went back to playing up when using the buttons.

I think just on a visual check. hadn't triggered any fault codes, yet.
It dosen't look that bad at the moment, you can so scuffing type marks and maybe some faint cracks forming.
Didn't fail an MOT because of it, just an advisory to act on immediately.
