Dear Experts ,

Please share if you have any experience for compatibility of headlight, mine looks like SPECIAL EDITION black inside OEM number 5j2941017F /5J2941018F but I want to change to 5j2941017j Or 5J2 941 017 D. (Fabia Mk2 2014 Monte Carlo 1.2 petrol 5j)

Any thoughts please ?

Hi all, Looking at purchasing a 2010 Superb 2.0l SE at 160,000miles. Engine history looks confidence inspiring but it has a few electrical issues that are either a common fix, or a big deal, and I'm trying to work out if its worth taking the project on. Drivers (right hand) door only opens using key manually in lock. All other central locking works ok. Rear o/s door does not open from in or out (deadlocked) Both front windows and mirrors temperamental. Looks like the cables through the driver

I guess this has been asked and answered dozens of times but I've trawled and found nothing recent. A few problems. I'm really struggling to update the Nav system. I only have access to a Mac, on OS 26 Tahoe. Can I use a new card that IS NOT a Skoda original, or must I stick with what I have? The Mac seems to insist on writing extra files to the SD card and messing up the install. Can I simply 'unhide' and delete these files, or is something else needed? Naturally this has all caught

I have an annoying metallic rattle which I have eventually traced to the boot catch. (This was finally confirmed by driving with the boot lid held partially open by a pillow – rattle eliminated!). Although the boot lid seems to close tightly on the rubbers, and there is no play evident in either the locking mechanism or the lower striker plate, there is this persistent rattle. Has anyone else had this problem, and might this be rectified simply by adjusting the striker plate? T.I.A. Barry.
