Does anyone finds the interior sound irritating?

Even when driving normal speed -say 75mph- onmotorway

I think its to loud.

Use to drive a Suberb v6 diesel for my work, thats silent!

Now that car has a overdrive (2100@75mph), but it has to be more...

(6speed vRS-box to expensive I think)

Anyone ideas how to make a vRS more silent than original?

Which engine and trim? I get a drone from the 110PD if I don't give it a bit of beans, maybe 2_000 to 2_500 revs before changing fist to second for the first mile or 2 when starting from cold.
