A VW Group Global Recall 2026.

^^^ That is UK vehicles once a SAFETY CRITICAL RECALL is called in the UK, if one is called and VW Group UK do not get VOSA / DfT to believe there is no need for a recall as they will deal with the issue by a Service Campaign / Voluntary Recall. As they have managed to do several times over the past 2 decades. Maybe there are no Right Hand Drive VW Group or Skoda vehicles that might need inspecting. But nor Showing on the Gov UK web checker or even the Skoda UK one does not mean that latter a Registered keep might get a Call or a Letter, or VW Group UK make a CLEAR PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT in the UK that no UK Imported Vehicles are affected. Like they did in 2012 over DQ200,s by their favourite journal Auto Car. Then in 2014 a Service Campaign started after the WORLD WIDE / Global recall which excluded Europe had been running for 2 years.

there is no official or unofficial recall for skoda europe, only VW and Audi.

since there is no upgraded bolts, VAG will change bolst with same M12 x 1.5 x 70 mm number N105 524 02. no matter is it left or right sided wheel, bolts are same.

No recall?

Not what I've seen!

By no recall what's being meant is no official SAFETY recall on the UK Government website.

It's telling that the VW Hub even uses the word "campaign", meaning they have (once again) apparently persuaded "the powers that be" that a safety issue is not a safety issue so can be handled as a Service Campaign or Voluntary Recall.

A) I meant in Europe (there is no recall in the UK as no RHD are affected, apparently) and B) as above, there are recalls in the EU.
