I'm sure that all of you VRS owners are forever washing your pride and joy in this cak weather in a vain attempt to keep them looking good.

Well I as a confirmed "car tart" :D I wash the old motor at least once a week. However I thought it prudent to advise those of you who haven't already noticed it, of the fragility :poo: of the VRS badge stuck to the front grille.

For those of you that haven't tried giving the badge a very gentle tug, I suggest that you do. It is stuck on rather pathetically with three pieces of sticky rubber. Pretty useless, especially over time with rain, cold etc getting into it. Basically it will fall of if you are not carefull :nono: . As mine did at the weekend. Just glad it came off in my hand.

I have stuck it back on with some araldite. Should keep it on much better. The fixing method is particularly poor so watch out. I don't know how much they cost to replace but better look at it now before you have to shell out!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

I wasn't too impressed by the fixing method when i fitted mine. I just used some really strong glue.
