Kumho Tyres

Featured Replies

Anyone used the Kumho tyres - they seem remarkable value but what are they like to drive with? My dad used to have them on his Volvo 440 Turbo, and swore by them, but as he drove like a serious old fart i dont take his opinion with much authority.

Depends what you are after (how's that for a cop out?)

Yes I have used Kumhos, but can't help you.

I've had the Ecsta V70A and the C03. Found them to be very good as a cheap alternative to the Pirellis and Dunlops.

Sorry I can't help :(

I had 2 on the back of my old bmw, I only got them because they were the cheapest I could find in the 245/40 ZR17. for the price I thought they were pretty good although wet traction seemed a little poor.

Agree with this, but not necessarily a tyre deficiency when trying to shove 263 lb ft of torque through a front wheel drive Skoda. Yes they are excellent value (

Lee,

Which Ecsta Supras?? 711? 712?

I have Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s - they are fine in the dry, not so good in the wet. Currently on 10k miles including 2 trackdays and they are on about 5mm rubber on fronts. Pretty good value considering...

Finally remembered to take a look: 712

Cheers buddy!

Am getting Kumho Ecsta 712s today following trashing my Conti SC2s at Brunters so will let you know what I think. Have got them through Blackcircles - seem to give a pretty good deal
