Hi been thinking about getting 17x7.5 ET35 RS6 alloys fitted but I'm a little concerned re. how much they will stick out, especially on front wheel arch.

Has anyone got any pics with wheels pointing straight on or almost straight on from a frontal and partial frontal view???

My calculations work out that it will stick out an extra 15mm from std. 16" alloys and an extra 9mm from the Octy 17's I have fitted now which already fill the front arch IMO.

If anyone asks about lowering, I have Eibachs fitted

Here are 2 pics I've found with them on.

This first pic to me looks to stick out too much for my tastes but it's not lowered.

This second pic it doesn't look as bad but it's difficult to see from this angle and the tyre black is not helping..

I've added a pic of mine, for comparison, with Octy 17's 17x7 ET38 which will be 9mm further in to the wheel arch to the RS6 reps

What does everyone think???

I don`t have RS6 wheels, but my wheels are 16" ET42/43 (if remember correctly) and 7½ wide.

This pic is obviously of the back wheel, but it is around the same at front. It`s just around the limit (still inside the arch), but not by much. My car isn`t lowered.

I hope you can compare a little with the wheel you want.

IMO they look silly!

Rs6 wheels look great on a silver Fabia. Im sure Vee Arr Ess has some, but not seen him post for a while.

I have 8" wide A8 wheels, and they don't stick out past the arches.

I think you are right OEM ones do, replicas come in a variety of sizes though?

I think the RS6 is a nice wheel, but not on a Fabia.:( I prefer your car with the Octavia wheels on:thumbup: If you decide to sell the octy wheels drop me a PM:thumbup:

I have kerbed 2 of the Octy alloys and they never come up for sale for 2. I was going to get them refurbed but they never match the existing colour so I would have to get all 4 done.

If I decide on this, I would maybe go for a grey colour for them similar to the Seat Cupra R alloys.

That's why I'm just looking at my options. I do like the RS6 reps but I don't know if I could live with the wheel just too wide for the arch look!

Get the two refurbed and stick them on one side, you never see both sides at the same time so if there is a little difference you wont notice.

I love the Cupra R alloys, can you get these replica's or do you have to go to a Seat Dealer?:confused: I bet they're pricey coming from the Main Dealer?!! Suppose it would be easier hunting down a set of used ones.
