Take the trip to York, you'll save the fuel cost at least.

Does anyone know if the skoda leather seats are available with side airbags yet?

IIRC the skoda seats are done by seat-surgeons

Seat Surgeons don't do the genuine Skoda seats but they can do them for airbags.

Have you driven a car with leather seats in hot weather? We have two Skodas, an Octy with ordinary fabric and a Superb with leather. Neither my wife or me like the leather. It dosent breath as well as cloth and even though the climate control is keeping the temperature down, you still get out with a wet back on a hot day. We are even thinking of getting seat covers !! We have a leather recling seat at home, its cold initially on a cold day and hot on a hot day.
