Hi, newbie from Manchester area here. Traded in my 1.9TDi for a (53) 1.8T Estate last week.

Today I got in the car, turned the ignition key and lost all electrics. Even the LCD displays all went. I checked over the battery terminals and they seemed OK. 5 mins later everything started up fine, but had lost trip counter info etc...

Anyone have any ideas?

I would have put it down to possible terminals , or a battery problem?
