Featured Replies

Driving to work this morning, road quiet, dry, good visibility.Decided on a wee blast, through gears nice smooth accelaration,up into 5th still going nicely then 4-4.5k car felt as though it hit flat spot/surge.felt as though car went faster then slowed, then faster. Was going up a hill!!!car was remapped in March with new forge dv fitted. At the time was told recirc valve was ok,could it be that or something else??Run car on Optimax.Cheers guys.

Sounds like you and me both... I'm running optimax, recent remap and fitment of a Bailey DV30. Also when driving uphill, power seems to pulse, it's contantly pulling but seems on and off.

More recently though i had a worrying few minutes. The car felt like a 1.2 having driven around 13 miles. I've read about MAF (Air Flow Metres) going, not sure at the moment, i've only driven it lightly on a short journey since so not sure if it's fixed itself?

Going for a drive later and car's in for service on 16th Aug. I i find out any more i'll let you know. Visa versa?
