My friend has blown his gearbox up on his sdi.But now he is having problems finding one.There is not so many sdi in the scrap yards and new one is very expensive he told me.Also the gearbox cannot be recondition.Does anybody know where to get one from.

you can get the gearbox reconned. gearbox specialist can recon them, and that gearbox could be out the car in 45 min tops !

You can get them reconned but if its done the usual of spitting the diff out its going to be major casing damage etc so probably beyond economical repair.

I think skospares have been mentioned as reliable on here before, and their current breaking list includes SDIs. Give 'em a call for a price.

Lummox was these not covered in to a 4th year of warranty?
