Hi just picked up my new octy elegance tdi est. Pretty happy with it on my runs today but have noticed when i close the boot that theres a loud tinny rattle from the number plate is this normal?. Also have a clear plastic clip attached to the driver side upright of the windscreen, is this just from not being rem at del or is it necessary???

Check theres a padded strip on the car behind the number plate. Its supposed to be on it

In any tools shop you can buy double-sided tape. Remove the plate, put the tape on, put the plate back on. It's simple

Mine just had one of the screws loose [beneath the round yellow plastic cover]. Tightened one turn and all okay

Great replies will check the plate asap. Well p'd off though as drove to lakes today and ended up with a stone chip on the screen, not fatal though.
