Experimenting with the new version of software that fixes alot of the bugs.

If I could ask you to wander over to http://beta.briskoda.net to test the forums, ignorewhat you see in terms of styling, looking mainly to page loading/useability issues.

DSL users, feel free to wander over aswell. You will also note the forum is an old copy of messages, thus if you registered after 26/09/2003 you won't be set up on the beta site. Sorry.

Seriously, though, there's a small problem with the navigation bar. Once I've logged in, and am at "http//beta.briskoda.net/forums", clicking on the links in the navigation bar try to take me to "http//beta.briskoda.net/forums/forums" or "http//beta.briskoda.net/forums/FAQ" or whatever. These just return a 404 Not Found.

Looks like a minor glitch with constructing pathnames...

Same rules apply, ignore the links for areas such as gallery, reviews and links.

Really need to know how you seethe site loading, we are still working on the layout (as will be obvious I hope)

What I'm after I guess is an honest appraisel of how that presently feels.

I plan on making a very very stripped version a quite striped and full blown version of the style/feature sets. however if where it is now is about useable, then it could save me a few hours

I'm on dial-up and it seems to load ok to me.

Layout is ok too, easy to find post&reply buttons etc.
