Had a 'crappy' 106 D myself (picked up an N reg with 100k on it)' date=' as a budget buy some years ago (on that note, a 'budget buy' in my opinion is sub-2k and crossed fingers). Yep, considered the Fabia - but after mine I couldn't cope with a non-vRS. Plus, I've had lots of niggly faults, service intervals are only 12k (and expensive imo), and the car is nowhere near as well equipped as the Corsa.

I'm really chuffed with the deal - luckily the new model is on the horizon, cos I dont think I'd have got it so cheap otherwise... However, WhatCars target price is still £9900, and I have the optional a/c at +£500... :thumbup:

After a quick call to the dealers querying the colour, this is the one they had in stock for me to have a look at. Really quite like it. The pearl effect is really nice too.
