I'm new!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have been looking at buy a good performance hatch for ages. Looked at old S3s and R32s and was thinking a 14K budget.

Then my friend popped round with his VRS Fabia, hmmm I'm thinking.

Couple of weeks he popped back with 175bhp and 295lbs of torque.

The crazy fool let me have a go and I'm sold.

I'm looking for a VRS at the moment, and tbh I have to say that a new 'sourced' package is taking my fancy!

Already eyed up a few choice mods and I'm off to moneysupermarket to find me a loan!

Popped into Jabba and talked about tuning - this place is soooo local to me it's painful and will be going back when the car hits the tarmac.

All I can say it's I'm glad to be on board and move over on the back road boys because I'm going through!

Cheers all

Oliverreed

Welcome :)

Welcome to Briskoda.

 A ghost!

Hello to you :)

Hi, and welcome

If you are THE Oliver Reed may I shake your hand sir:D

I have been trying to emulate you most of my life, and generally speaking I don't do a bad job:thumbup:

I'm sure someone told me you were dead? Or was I drunk when they told me:confused:

I live on in spirit boom-boom

Not sure who Oliver Reed is, but when I read the title of this thread I thought it said 'I'm newt'.

Anyhow Oliver/Newt welcome to Brisky. I just got a fabia vRS and they are super-duper. :)

He was a famous alcoholic Emily. I think he did a bit of acting in his spare time too :)

Newt! how appropriate!

He was a very funny man and a talented actor. His autobiography makes interesting reading - he was related to Peter the Great, IIRC.

Some background here

Greatly missed :(

Edit: his last film appearance was as the old slave-trader in Gladiator - you might remember him from that.
