Noise under glove box, when fan is on ?

Featured Replies

Ive got a Noise under my glove box, when fan is on.

Been reading in other posts about the fan and filter, leaves and other debri.

It has only started happening from tuesday when my car got serviced and having the air filter changed.

Is this most likely to be something stuck in the fiter ?

Sounds like....PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPHHHHHHHH!!!

There are quite often a few leaves in the area of the pollen filter that can inadvertantly fall into the fan unit during filter change as they did when i changed mine recently. after a week of similar noises a leaf wizzed past my ear from one of the vents....

Probably come out eventually.

Had the same thing on my car last week after the service, turned from slow to fast and back again a few times, and whatever it was went thankfully.

I've given Halesowen Skoda a call and they are going to have a look on wednesday. Asked them to remove the filter and check for debris learking about.

It would be better if they removed the fan to clear it out.
