Well, on my drive back from the dealers in the Fabia vRS I flicked the indicator down and let it return when changing lane and it did just that, three flashes of the indicator.

Nope, didn't ask for it, but when it happened on the drive home I remembered seeing this thread (I think it's a neat idea). I guess it's just a try it and see on the particular car as you say. It didn't do it on my old Y reg Tdi Fabia.

Hopefully, the final word on one touch/three flash indicators. Received an e mail from cust.serv. today --

"Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that I have discussed your email with our Technical Department and I regret to advise you that it is not possible to reprogram the indictors to allow a 3 flash facility. The control unit on the Fabia is slightly different to that on the Polo and unfortunately this functionality is not available.

Presumably new vrs's are fitted with a later control unit.

How much for a different control unit i wonder and is it possible to retro-fit?

my vrs has been re programmed to lock doors over 10 mph and unlock on key removal also one press to unlock all doors, all done by the supplying dealer
