vRS paint issue

Featured Replies

Hi all, just handed my car into the dealers to get the front bumper painted and was wondering how long they would have it for?? Any one had theres done?? What was the time scale?

Cheers:thumbup:

Well documented and timescales vary dealer to dealer. Mine was off the road two days but I did get a courtesy.

Yeah, i've been given a courtesy car too but i'm missing mine already and its only been 2days!!!:( I'm sure i've read on here somewhere that people have been without there car for over a week due to them having the bumper paint issue resolved!! Hope mine doesnt take that long!!

They had mine for 8 hours

My Corrida Red VRS was in just a day, not even a year old and did 17000 miles

Please correct me if i'm wrong but I've been informed that "Paint Shops" cannot "Cure" the paint on plastic panals as they cannot get enough heat into the paint for fear of melting the panal. A different processe is used at the factory....Is this correct??
