Why don't cars come modified?

If they sold the fabia with a remap and rear arb then these wouldn't modifications! It'd just be a standard car.... then people would modify it.... :rolleyes:

You can't please all of the people all of the time and so the car will be a compromise based on the majority of people's requirements and also where it fits into the market. At the end of the day, Skoda have decided they don't want to target people who want hot hatch handling/power so people who choose to buy the car but want this, have to go down the modifications route :D

Old farts don't mod much and they buy Skodas.

It's all very well changing your products to appeal to a couple of hundred boy-racers when the other xx thousand customers don't want your products any more.

i've spent hours in the past searching through etka for bits and bobs for loads of different cars. but then i suppose i am sad dull and boring
