My car has been with JCB Skoda for the last 2 days and they have sorted all the squeaks. While it was there I asked them if they could price up all the parts to change my wipers over to the aero type, when I picked it up they said that it was not possible as the new wipers would not fit on the screen!

Is this true or have they got it wrong?

p.s JCB have again been fantastic.

The aero wipers I used were off a Golf ( Mk 4 IIRC ), possibly did they try fitting some Octavia mk 2 ones not? Or possible they didn't change the arms just the wipers themselfs ?

Parts from Golf MK IV and fit without any modification at all.

I had some warrenty work done that required the wipers off so the dealer even put my aeros on for me when putting the wipers back

Octy II won't fit (arms are too long I was told)
