Hello all (again).

I originally joined this site when I purchased my Octy vRS. Having sold that in January, I haven't been around the site much.

Am now back because on Saturday I pick up my Superb Comfort TDi. The necessity to drive a minimum of 2750 miles of month, including a 200 mile round trip three times a week meant I felt a comfortable diesel would be a good choice.

Was going to purchase a Fabia vRS, but was swayed by a good deal on a Superb and I was very impressed with the ride and general relaxed nature of the car. As 180 of the 200 mile round trip will be on dual carriageways, I think the Superb makes perfect sense. Hoping to achieve 50-55 mpg which will also be a good thing!

Now I have to find a suitable weekend toy to balance the fun factor once again.
