Just sorting out lots of personel things with the car.

The seats are great and hold you in place but I find the sides a little uncomfortable on a longer journey.

I like to slouch and spread my legs. The seat bottoms are shaped by a metal bar rim. It is this metal bar that rubs against my right thigh and becomes painful after a while.

Is it possible to modify the seats and remove the metal bar from the seat.

Or can the bar be bent outwards. I have tried a little but the metal seems very strong and I think I might break the seat before the metal bends into a new shape.

maybe modifiying your posture might be easier?

good point, I am fine with the seats now, but my wife is now complaining she finds it hard to get out the car.
